San Cristobal was the first island Charles Darwin visited. While the island has been inhabited by people for nearly 200 years, we saw the pristine and uninhabited areas. In the morning we took a zodiac ride to see the birds of Punta Pitt and the small island of Pitt. This is the only place where you can see Blue-footed Boobies, Red-footed Boobies and Nazca Bobbies. The little island had hundred's of birds of different species. We also cruised along the coast of San Cristabol and looked for wildlife.
We saw Red-Footed Boobies either nesting in trees or flying but never saw their red feet (never got a good picture). This picture is from the video made by Lindblad of our trip (viewed by hikers).

In the afternoon and evening we cruised around Leon Dormido (Kicker Rock).
The afternoon deep water snorkelers braved this channel with swift difficult currents for the opportunity to swim with sharks and sea lions.
The final evening Captain's Farewell Cocktail reception was held on the sky deck where we viewed the scenery and saw some whales. We then ate dinner and saw some dolphins frolicking in the water.
