2/11/12 We arrive in Ecuador!

We spent the day relaxing and separating out our warm clothes for Cusco and Machu Picchu, Peru so that we could leave them in the hotel at Guayaquil, Ecuador while on the expedition to the Galapagos. We joined some of our expedition-mates at the airport in Miami to take the flight to Guayaquil, Ecuador and subsequently checked into our hotel around 10:30 PM with instructions for our early departure in the morning.
